Health Insurance
Full-time non-craft employees of Dick Corporation receive health insurance benefits. The premiums are shared between employees and the company. Coverage is available for the employee, spouse and eligible dependents.
Dental Insurance
The company sponsors a dental insurance program for all full-time employees and their families. The premiums are shared between the employee and the company.
Vision Insurance
Company paid exam coverage for employees and their dependents. Ability to purchase a full service plan through pre-tax payroll deductions.
Health Care Flexible Spending Account
Full-time employees may defer up to $5,000.00 annually through pre-tax payroll deductions to the health care flexible spending account. The employee then uses the deferred pre-tax dollars to reimburse him/herself for eligible medical expenses (i.e., prescription co-payments, dental care, corrective lenses, deductibles, over the counter medicine, etc).
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
Full-time employees may defer up to $5,000.00 annually through pre-tax payroll deductions to the dependent care flexible spending account. The employee then uses the deferred pre-tax dollars to reimburse him/herself for eligible dependent care expenses (i.e., day care, nursery school, after-school programs).
Life Insurance
Full-time employees are eligible for life (including accidental death and dismemberment) insurance; premiums are 100% company-paid. Employees can purchase additional life insurance at their own expense for themselves, their spouses and children.
401(k)
After two months of service, eligible employees may defer 1% to 40% of their salary to the company-sponsored 401(k) plan on a pre-tax basis. The company may make an annual discretionary matching contribution of 50 cents for every dollar contributed, not to exceed an amount equaling 3% of the employee's salary.
Profit Sharing
As part of the 401(k) plan, employees are eligible for an annual profit-sharing contribution upon completion of 1000 hours of employment. Plan entry dates are January 1 and July 1.
EAP
Confidential Employee Assistance Program for employees, their household members, and dependents to help resolve personal concerns so employees can be their best at work and home. Company paid within plan guidelines.
Short-Term Disability
Full-time employees are eligible for salary continuation in the case of short-term absences. For short-term disabilities (0 to 90 days), employees' salaries will be continued according to our published schedule with approved documentation.
Long-Term Disability
Full-time employees receive long-term disability insurance coverage. The premiums are 100% company-paid. In the event of a long-term illness (greater than 90 days), participating employees may be eligible for partial salary replacement.
Paid Holidays
The company observes local practice with respect to holidays. Typical holidays include New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day.
Paid Vacation
Dick Corporation rewards employees for their efforts and dedication by providing paid vacation to regular, full-time employees. Each employee accrues vacation on an annual basis. Each employee earns vacation based on the following schedule: Year one – 1 week; Years two through four – 2 weeks; Years five through fifteen – 3 weeks; > 15 years = 4 weeks.
Tuition Reimbursement
Full-time employees are eligible to receive tuition reimbursement for continuing education (college/university-level courses) that directly relates to their present position and that has been approved by Sr. Management.
